CPPG was established as a not-for-profit corporation in September 1995
after a need was identified by physicians interested in obtaining discounted
buying arrangements using the influence of a group purchasing entity.
More than 2300 different vendors are available. The savings include discounts
on medical and office supplies, pagers, wireless telephones, malpractice
insurance, payroll services, collection agency, answering services, credit
card processing, bottled water, IT Services and more. Our most popular
services are the CAP-MPT malpractice discounts and the medical supply
purchasing program, which result in savings of $500-$10,000 per doctor
per year depending on specialty. The savings increases with each CPPG
vendor you use!
We are governed by our
Board of Directors, who identify and prioritize new programs and services, approve preferred
vendors and build membership.
